Purchasing managers are responsible for obtaining unprocessed materials or products for an organization. Their main goal is to increase a company’s number of customers and engagement. These products they buy can be used for either reselling or manufacturing. That’s why purchasing managers can work in multiple fields, including wholesale trade, manufacturing, government agencies, and retail trade.
