Use strong action verbs and metrics to highlight sales accomplishments
Roles that specialize in sales are often driven heavily by numbers and quotas. As you craft your resume, keep this in mind and make sure to quantify your previous accomplishments in sales roles, such as with exceeding a given quota. Use strong action verbs that demonstrate your sales skills such as “solicited” or “generated”. Accompany these verbs with metrics that demonstrate your expertise in capabilities such as reducing customer churn rate, increasing revenue, or exceeding sales expectations.
